How to Back Up Your Parqet Portfolio (and Restore It)

Your Parqet portfolio is not just a number on a dashboard. It is months — often years — of carefully recorded transactions: every buy, every sell, every dividend, every fee, every manually corrected entry. Parqet (formerly Tresor One) does a great job of keeping that history live and up to date. But there is one thing it does not give you: a way to take a snapshot of a portfolio and restore it later.

That gap becomes very real the moment you want to restructure something. Maybe you are about to merge two portfolios, reclassify a batch of holdings, split a position, or experiment with a different account structure. Maybe you just want a safety net before letting an import run. There is no “undo” button for a portfolio’s entire state, and no built-in restore point. Why a Parqet Portfolio Needs a Backup

4. Restore Into a New Portfolio

When you restore, ParqSafe creates a new portfolio in Parqet and rebuilds the snapshot’s structure there. Because it never overwrites your existing portfolios, you can restore freely: to recover a lost structure, to clone a known-good setup as a starting point, or to put an archived state side by side with your current one for comparison.

Moving Backups Between Computers
